Mersadies
delivered a beautiful litter of Australian Shepherd puppies on
Friday, July 23rd. She had one blue merle female, one blue
merle male, one black tri female, and one black tri male! Mom
& babies are doing well!
Both the sire (Maverick) & dam have had all of the proper health clearances. Mersadies is OFA Excellent hips, Normal elbows and Maverick is OFA
Good hips, and Normal elbows. Both passed their CERF (eye
exams) exams and tested Clear of the HSF4 (hereditary cataract)
gene. The litter will be AKC &
ASCA registered. Both the sire & dam have wonderful
personalities. Maverick is a beautiful, loving, extremely
laid-back boy and Mersadies is a little princess. Very prissy!
She smiles a huge grin (which then triggers a sneeze) and wiggles
her whole back end. She's a sweetheart! This litter is
completely reserved! |

Bayshore Caught Ya Lookin At Stonehaven,
"Sally", went to the Oklahoma City show over the weekend of July
4th. On Sunday, Sally went Reserve to a major win. Sally
only needs one major to finish her Championship, so we now have our
sights set on the Dallas show the weekend of July 9-11! |

At the Shreveport Dog Show on the weekend of
April 23-25, McKenna won her class each day allowing her to advance
to the Open Intermediate class! Good job, McKenna!
McKenna also showed Gossip in Best of Breed each of those days &
Gossip took Best of Opposite Sex every time! One of the judges
commented on how well McKenna was doing in the ring against
professional handlers and that he was very close to awarding Gossip
Best of Breed (not bad, considering that the dog that was Best of Breed
at Westminster was in the ring)! What a compliment to McKenna & Gossip! |

McKenna began showing Gossip in Junior's and
also as a special in Best of Breed in 2010. McKenna has done
an excellent job showing her in breed taking Best of Opposite Sex on
Sunday in the Abilene Dog Show showing against professional handlers

In November, 2009, we attended
the Belton dog show where we entered our 4 month old puppy, Tucker,
in the Puppy Match. He won Best of Match, defeating
approximately 70 puppies of all breeds! Thanks, Hayden for
your showmanship! We look forward to a mature Tucker to enter
the ring in 2010! |
